Milestones for Sports and Leisure Project of Nantian
Shen Qian Group
  1. 3 June 2008 – Under the company of Deputy Secretary of Provincial Land Reclamation Bureau, Mr Peng Long Rong and Mr Wen He, Mr Wang Yixin, Secretary for Provincial Land Reclamation Bureau visited Nantian Farm of Mystic Spring Group for an onsite visit. After consideration, he decided to invest in the development of sports and leisure projects on this land.

  2. 10 July 2008 – The first meeting of Nantian Farm’s 13th Congress passed the regulations for "Nantian Hot Spring Development Zone and Land Clearing Compensation and Resettlement Measures".

  3. 28 July 2008 – The Provincial Land Reclamation Bureau and Sanya Municipal Government signed a "Comprehensive Strategic Framework Partnership Agreement" and decided to invest $900 million for development and construction of the Mystic Springs Group sports and leisure industries and supported its hotel project.

  4. 8 August 2008 – The Nantian Farm’s 13th Congress Bureau meeting passed the "Nantian Hot Spring Development Zone Sports and Leisure Project in the Standard Compensation and Resettlement Procedures Supplementary Regulations".

  5. 28 August 2008 – foundation was laid for the Mystic Springs Group Sports and Leisure Project.

  6. 18 September 2008 – The Provincial Land Reclamation Bureau gave their approval the Mystic Springs Group Sports and Leisure Project, and also approved development of sports and leisure facilities under the project.

  7. 18 October 2008 – Mystic Springs Group Sports and Leisure Project was started.

  8. 28 November 2008 – Opening Ceremony for the Headquarters of Mystic Springs Group Sports and Leisure Project after completion. Police Command Post and the Defense Squadron units were also unveiled.

  9. 5 December 2008 – The Politics and Law Committee Secretary of Provincial Standing Committee, Mr Xiao Ruohai, conducted site inspections for the project.

  10. 13 December 2008 – Mr Wang Yixin, Secretary for Provincial Land Reclamation Bureau, inspected the site of the sports and leisure project under the company of Assistant Secretary for Provincial Land Reclamation Public Security Bureau, Mr Zhao Qiang and the Provincial Land Reclamation Propaganda Department Mr Wang Chang Long.

  11. 6 January 2009 – Mr He Zi Yang, Deputy Secretary of Ministry of Agriculture, Bureau of Reclamation, inspected the site of the sports and leisure project under the company of Provincial Land Reclamation Bureau’s Deputy Inspector Mr Wang Dong Jiang, and Deputy Chief Economist Mr Luo Su Hui.

  12. 7 January 2009 – U.S. stylist Mr Randy Morgan joined in the project and started at the main site.

  13. 8 January 2009 – The Sports and Leisure Club to commence construction works.

  14. 9 February 2009 – A fireworks display was held at the Sports and Leisure Projects Headquarters in celebration of the Lantern Festival.

  15. 10 February 2009 – The Nantian Farm’s literary team performed at the main project site to spark motivation and encouragements among the staff and workers.

  16. 20 February 2009 – Ms Li En Jie, Deputy Party Secretary of the Provincial Land Reclamation Bureau and Commissioner for the Discipline Committee, visits the site of the sports and leisure project.

  17. 6 March 2009 – Mr Wang Ren Fei, Deputy Secretary of Provincial Land Reclamation Bureau, conducted a site visit to the sports and leisure project.

  18. 7 March 2009 – A demonstration of the drainage plans for the sports and leisure project was conducted at the headquarters, and it was chaired by Mr Peng Long Rong , Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Land Reclamation Bureau and Chairman of Mystic Springs Group.

  19. 15 March 2009 – Headquarters conducted a second discussion to refine the decoration plans for the sports and leisure club project, and it was chaired by Mr Peng Long Rong, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Land Reclamation Bureau and Chairman of Mystic Springs Group.

  20. 20 March 2009 – Mr Wang Yixin, Secretary for Provincial Land Reclamation Bureau visited Nantian Farm of Mystic Spring Group did a site inspection of the sports and leisure project at the construction sites to observes and provide guidance. He was satisfied and filled with praises on this project, providing positive affirmations.

  21. 21 March 2009 – A second demonstration was conducted for the drainage system at Mystic Springs Group Sports and Leisure Projects. Leaders of Provincial Land Reclamation Bureau – Mr Peng Long Rong, Mr Wen He and Mr Cao Yuanxin attended the demonstration session.

  22. 9 May 2009 – Mystic Springs Group Sports and Leisure Project’s Shen Niu Tunnel experts’ meeting was held in the conference room of the project departments at the headquarters in the morning.

  23. 14 July 2009 – Mr Hu Jintao and 9 other members of the standing committee gave out certificates for the 10 outstanding Chinese citizens who have returned from overseas, and Mr Peng Long Rong was one of them who was awarded with this honour.

  24. 16 July 2009 – Meeting of the 8th National Congress for nationals who have returned from overseas, Deputy Secretary of Provincial Land Reclamation Bureau and Chairman of Mystic Springs, Mr Peng Long Rong was elected in the Standing Committee of the China Federation of Returned Overseas Nationals.

  25. 19 August 2009 – Under the company of Deputy Secretary of Provincial Land Reclamation Bureau and Chairman of Mystic Springs Mr Peng Long Rong, Mr Yao Lei, Vice Mayor of Sanya City, conducted researches at the sports and leisure project.

  26. 18 December 2009 – Mystic Springs Hainan Land Reclamation International Golf and Hainan Jacques Golf Management Company's signing ceremony was held at the headquarters of Mystic Springs Group Sports and Leisure Projects.

  27. 20 December 2009 – Thousands of workers gathered at the command square of Mystic Springs Group Sports and Leisure Projects’ headquarter during a general project assembly mobilization meeting.

  28. 9 January 2010 – Mr Liu Jiang, former Minister of the Ministry of Agriculture and Mr Liu Cheng Guo, former Deputy Minister of Ministry of Agriculture came to the site of Mystic Springs Group Sports and Leisure Projects for inspection.

  29. 24 October 2010 – The caddy recruitment for the sports and leisure projects in place the successfully recruited children of farm workers, including 12 girls and 11 boys.

  30. 18 April 2010 – Commencement of the Haiken golf water plant.

  31. 1 May 2012 – A number of sports and leisure projects were opened within Mystic Springs Group. The Club opened its first 18-hole golf course for play. Lake Bridge was also opened to traffic.

  32. 5 May 2010 – ACFTU Deputy Party Secretary, Vice Chairman and Secretary, Mr Qiao Chuanxiu visits the Nantian farm.

  33. 6 June 2010 – In the morning, the headquarters of the Mystic Springs Group Sports and Leisure projects held a ceremony at Mystic Springs Golf Club, whereby the construction side will transfer the first 18-hole golf course to the golf course management company.

  34. 12 June 2010 – Mr Wang Faren, Deputy Director of Provincial People's Congress came to Mystic Springs Golf Club for inspection.

  35. 1 October 2010 – Deputy Secretary of Provincial Land Reclamation Bureau and Chairman of Mystic Springs, Mr Peng Long Rong, lead a team to discover the culture resources of the golf course through "road of discovery", "cultural tour", where there were a total of eight attractions, which add to the cultural characteristics of the golf course. With the rich culture, the golf course has been given a new life .

  36. 8 January 2011 – The Overseas Committee of the CPPCC Hong Kong, Macau & Taiwan inspects the site of the sports and leisure projects.

  37. 12 January 2011 – Mr Bai Lichen, Vice Chairman of CPPCC visited the site of the sports and leisure projects.

  38. 14 January 2011 – Mr Wang Jun, Qinghai’s Vice Governor makes a visit to the site of the sports and leisure projects.

  39. 16 January 2011 – In the afternoon, the handover ceremony for the first 9 holes of Mystic Springs Golf was held at Mystic course Hole No 1.

  40. 22 January 2011 – The "Hainan Rubber Cup" Golf Spring Tournament was held at the Mystic Springs Golf Course.

  41. 25 March 2011 – The "Ben Shan" crew visited Mystic Springs Golf Course.

  42. 18 August 2011 – The Singapore management team, led by Ms Teo Gek Heng officially took over the Mystic Springs Golf Course. Mystic Springs Golf Course is now in a new stage.

  43. 31 December 2011 – The Mystic Springs Golf Club has been awarded the top 6th golf club in Hainan Province.
