Springs Course Hole 01 - 09
HOLE 1 Par 4
Black Tee Blue Tee White Tee Red Tee
462 441 402 354
A strong opening hole to a wide and generous fairway. Don’t be intimidated by the water off the tee and choose your tee box carefully. A good second shot is required to carry your ball onto the green surface which slopes from back to front.
HOLE 2 Par 5
Black Tee Blue Tee White Tee Red Tee
584 540 504 444
A par 5 hole which bends to the right after the drive. Out of bounds is on the right which protects the mango orchards on that side. Lay up left of the fairway bunkers to leave the best angle to approach the green and set up a birdie opportunity.
HOLE 3 Par 4
Black Tee Blue Tee White Tee Red Tee
373 344 308 251
A good medium length par 4 that plays longer than its yardage due to the uphill second shot. A bunker on the left side of the fairway and trees and rough protect the right side so a straight drive is needed to hit the fairway. Take more club to ensure you reach the green surface and avoid the bunker short of the green.
HOLE 4 Par 3
Black Tee Blue Tee White Tee Red Tee
202 179 157 137
An elevated tee on this par 3 hole requires a carry over a gully to a large green which slopes from back to front. Bunkers guard the front and left side of the green. Short and right is a safe option for those who cannot reach the green and will leave a good chance to save par.
HOLE 5 Par 4
Black Tee Blue Tee White Tee Red Tee
435 404 333 236
A strong par 4 requires a straight drive to a flat fairway. Your second shot will be with a long iron and as the green sits slightly elevated be sure to take enough club to reach the green which is protected by a bunker on the left side.
HOLE 6 Par 3
Black Tee Blue Tee White Tee Red Tee
227 197 157 131
A long par 3 playing slightly downhill and protected by two large greenside bunkers on the left front and right side of the green. A large green allows for multiple pin positions with a bailout area to the left of the green should you miss your tee shot.
HOLE 7 Par 4
Black Tee Blue Tee White Tee Red Tee
374 340 307 260
A great medium length par 4 hole which will require you to drive your ball as close to the fairway bunker as possible. This will leave a short iron approach to an elevated green which is protected by a deep bunker at the front. Take at least one more club for your approach shot to ensure you reach the green surface. Better to be long than short on this approach shot.
HOLE 8 Par 5
Black Tee Blue Tee White Tee Red Tee
567 544 520 458
A demanding par 5 hole which doglegs to the left after the drive. The longer hitters have a chance to carry the fairway bunkers on the left but most golfers will need to play to the right of the bunkers. The second shot must be played with a fairway wood to the right side of the fairway so as to avoid the water and bunkers on the left. The green sits above the fairway level and requires good judgement by the golfer as to what club to select for your approach shot.
HOLE 9 Par 4
Black Tee Blue Tee White Tee Red Tee
487 461 437 408
Another strong hole to finish the front 9. This par 4 plays as a par 5 hole for most players as water guards the left and front of the green requiring most players to ‘lay up’ for their second shot. Don’t ruin your score by being too greedy on this hole and play for a good pitch and putt to try and save your par.
